Hello, world

A quick note on why this site exists and what to expect here.

I’ve been meaning to set up a place to write things down for a while. This is it.

Why

I spend my days on the information side of major infrastructure projects — BIM, common data environments, the plumbing between design and delivery — and my evenings on code, 3D, and whatever new AI toy has caught my attention that week. A lot of what I’m learning doesn’t fit neatly into either world, and doesn’t really belong on LinkedIn.

So: a personal site. Slow, low-pressure, and honest about being a work in progress.

What to expect

Short posts, mostly. Things like:

  • Notes from the digital engineering side of big projects — what works, what doesn’t, what I’d do differently next time.
  • Small experiments in code, automation, and AI.
  • Occasional posts about 3D, parametric modelling, and visualisation.
  • The odd deeper piece when something is worth the long form.

Nothing here represents the views of my employer or any client. Everything here is mine, written in my own time.

Thanks for reading. More soon.
